Our Story

Most firms in this business are designed to stay. A sourcing agent finds you a factory, positions itself between you and it, and takes a margin on every part for as long as the relationship lasts. You never learn what the part actually costs to make. That is not an oversight. It is the business model.

We came at it from the other side. Partha spent 27 years building supply chains across the United States, Europe and India, usually as the person inside a client organisation trying to make an Asian supply base work. Between us we had spent long enough at both ends of these relationships to watch the same two failures repeat. Companies either paid an intermediary indefinitely, or paid a consultancy for a strategy document and still had no supplier when it was over.

So we built SCM Connexions around a different ending. We run the feasibility work, qualify the supply base line by line against your bill of materials, and prove it with a first article produced to your drawing. Then we transfer the suppliers, the contracts and the cost data to you, and step back. It is a harder business to run this way. Every engagement has a finish line, and the next one has to be earned on results rather than dependency. It also means that when Weatherford, Voith or WEG work with us, what gets built belongs to them.

That is what we mean by connecting today and powering tomorrow. We connect capability that already exists, on both sides, and leave something that runs without us.

Our Approach

Prove it first. Then build it. Then hand it over.

We answer the feasibility question before you spend. Whether a part can be made in India or China, at what cost and at what volume, is settled with numbers before anyone commits capital.

We build to your bill of materials, not our catalogue. Every line gets its own qualified source. Where a part is critical or long-lead, we qualify a second supplier so a single failure cannot stop your line.

We close on a part, not a report. The engagement ends when a first article comes off the line, inspected and validated against your drawing.

You own what we built. Suppliers, contracts, drawings and should cost data transfer to you directly. We take no ongoing margin on anything you buy through the chain we set up.
